Award-winning systems expert and author Dr Nafeez Ahmed, known for his accurate prediction of the global rise of the far-right 15 years ago, is set to launch a new book on the alarming rise of right-wing extremism and its takeover of governments around the world.
Titled “ALT REICH: THE NETWORK WAR TO DESTROY THE WEST FROM WITHIN”, the book sheds light on how white supremacists and eugenicists have been working to infiltrate mainstream institutions and ideologies over the last 100 years. According to Dr Ahmed, the recent actions of US President Donald Trump, such as his attack on diversity programs and civil rights, are a direct result of the influence of these dangerous ideas, inspired by Nazi eugenics.
Dr Ahmed, a British investigative journalist who has twice been featured in the Evening Standard’s list of the top 1,000 most influential Londoners, highlights the role of a new billionaire technology oligarchy in fueling the far-right movement. He warns that if citizens do not take action, these groups are on the verge of dismantling the postwar peace in Europe that has been maintained for the last 80 years.
“My new book explains for the first time how Nazi eugenics has increasingly influenced mainstream institutions from behind the scenes,” said Dr Ahmed. “The far-right is waging a new kind of network war from within the West, with the support of tech billionaires and tyrants like Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin. From the Capitol Hill insurrection to the UK’s far-right riots, they have the power to incite anti-democracy insurgencies.”
