“Welcome to the Rendezvous Office: Where Design Connects”

Organizations are increasingly focused on creating workspaces that foster collaboration and networking among employees. The office is no longer just a place for individuals to work alone, but a space for them to come together, share knowledge, and generate ideas.

According to Ernst Holzapfel, Head of Marketing at Sedus Stoll AG, “To attract people, offices now need to be both visually appealing and functional. Freedom in the workplace no longer means just choosing a desk, but how employees can utilize the entire work environment, structure their days, and tailor their work to their specific needs. Inspired by third places such as cafes, restaurants, hotel lobbies, libraries, and parks, elements of the city are slowly but surely making their way into the office, encouraging companies to create attractive spaces that cater to a variety of needs.”

One particular type of space that is gaining popularity is the Work Café, which serves as a social hub for employees to network, collaborate, and find common ground. With the rise of this modern working culture, Sedus is responding with their new program, “Design to Connect – The Rendezvous Office,” which will showcase innovative solutions to create spaces that offer relaxation, flexibility, and inspiration.

One of their latest product launches is the se:café wooden chair & lounge chair, which pays tribute to Sedus’ long history of precision craftsmanship and innovative design. Designer Konstantin Thomas explains, “The combination of wood craftsmanship and contemporary design reflects the balance between historical heritage and modern requirements. By intentionally choosing clean lines and functional elegance, the chair embodies Sedus’ roots while also fitting seamlessly into today’s world.”
