Birmingham’s The Cube spreads holiday cheer to children in needBirmingham’s iconic landmark, The Cube, is launching a heartwarming campaign this Christmas season. In partnership with free@last, a local charity dedicated to supporting children and families in Nechells, The Cube will be hosting a special festive gift drive from November 26th to December 11th.
To get involved in this meaningful initiative, individuals can simply visit The Cube and collect a tag from the designated tree. Each tag represents a gift wish from a child supported by free@last. Participants can then purchase a gift based on the tag’s details and return it to The Cube’s concierge, unwrapped and ready for collection. These gifts will be delivered to free@last, ensuring they reach children in time for Christmas.
Lauren Tozer, Senior Facilities Manager of The Cube, expressed the importance of community involvement in this campaign, stating, “As a central part of Birmingham, we have the opportunity and responsibility to make a positive impact.” She continued, “This Christmas gift drive is a chance for us all to come together and show local children they are valued and cared for. Every contribution matters, and we’re proud to partner with free@last to support this cause.”
For 25 years, free@last has been a pillar of the Nechells community, offering vital programs and emotional support to families and young people. Christmas can be a difficult time for many children, and this initiative aims to bring joy and hope to their lives. The Cube urges everyone to take a moment to make a difference and show these children they are remembered and cared for during the festive season.
