Throughout the year of its 25th anniversary, Defence Composites has reflected on its significant achievements, product launches, certifications, and people-focused milestones. These highlights showcase the company’s continuous growth and unwavering commitment to providing top-of-the-line protection.
Some of the noteworthy events that took place during the 2025 anniversary year include:
January: Defence Composites received CE Certification under PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for its range of body armour, demonstrating its compliance with European safety standards.
February:
Dominique Oliver, the Administration Assistant, celebrated her one-year anniversary with the company, providing valuable support to the expanding operations at Defence Composites’ headquarters in Rochdale.
Anthony Darnbrough joined the production team as Production Assistant, strengthening the company’s manufacturing capacity and dedication to quality.
March: Defence Composites participated in the Official UK Government Security & Policing Show in Farnborough, where it showcased its Home Office-certified body armour.
April: The company returned to The Security Event at the NEC for another successful year, giving a sneak peek of its new and upcoming product developments.
May: Defence Composites proudly supplied custom-designed pink body armour to the Night Angels, supporting safety initiatives in the community.
June: The company added three new levels of UK Home Office HOSDB 2017 certified Stab and Spike protection armour to its product range.
July: Defence Composites launched the DC2020 Ultra Covert Body Armour, specifically designed for high-risk and specialist operational environments.
August: The company launched a new range of protective clothing for the security and healthcare sectors.
September: Defence Composites participated in The Emergency Services Show at the NEC, engaging with frontline professionals and industry partners.
October: The company was part of the Amulet Innovation Day at London Zoo, highlighting collaboration and innovation within the security sector.
November: Defence Composites showcased its new products at the NAHS Annual Conference & Awards.
December: The company extends its best wishes to customers and partners for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
