Sean Anderson, based in Mexico City, leads the firm’s Latin American practice and specializes in complex litigation, integrity due diligence, asset tracing, and cryptocurrency investigations. He has a wealth of experience in the infrastructure, energy, and financial services sectors, and utilizes blockchain forensics to uncover major thefts and hacks involving large-scale transfers.
In New York, Michael Karran heads Mintz Group’s office and advises institutional investors and global corporations on diligence throughout the transaction lifecycle. With over a decade of experience at the firm, Karran has led numerous investigations related to transaction due diligence, fraud, insider trading, asset tracing, and complex disputes. His impressive track record includes uncovering hidden ownership ties, tracing misappropriated funds, and resolving high-value fraud cases.
Sean Weathersby, based in Washington D.C., is a leader in Mintz Group’s Executive Diligence practice, specializing in vetting senior executives for major search firms and institutions. Since joining the firm in 2010, he has directed a significant number of investigations involving executive vetting, litigation support, internal investigations, and asset tracing. His work has included high-profile proxy disputes, activist campaigns, and white-collar defense matters.
