“Weegie Hink Ae That? Launches Festive Charity Single ‘Feeling This Christmas’ to Benefit Testicular Cancer Organization”

A Scottish viral trio known as Weegie Hink Ae That? is making waves in the music industry with the release of their new charity Christmas single, “Feeling This Christmas”. The festive track, set to launch on November 19th, coincides with International Men’s Day and aims to raise both funds and awareness for testicular cancer.

As one of Scotland’s most popular online comedy acts, Weegie Hink Ae That? is known for their musical parodies and relatable Scottish humor. With a dedicated following on social media and millions of views, the trio is now using their platform to support Cahonas Scotland, a national charity focused on testicular cancer education, awareness, and support.

International Men’s Day is an important annual event for raising awareness of men’s health issues, making it a fitting date for the release of a single that emphasizes the importance of early detection. With “Feeling This Christmas”, Weegie Hink Ae That? hopes to spark conversations and encourage men to prioritize their health during the busy holiday season.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15 to 45, yet many men do not regularly check for symptoms or know what to look for. Early detection is crucial, with a 95% survival rate when the cancer is found early. Through the use of humor and festive spirit, “Feeling This Christmas” aims to prompt more men to check themselves and take action for their own health.

Cahonas has become a recognized leader in testicular cancer awareness, particularly during the holiday season. Their annual festive campaign, #CheckYerBawballs, has reached millions of people over the last decade and has received support from well-known names such as William Shatner, Mark Hamill, and James McAvoy. The charity also provides education in schools, sports clubs, workplaces, and communities, as well as support for those dealing with a diagnosis.

By partnering with Weegie Hink Ae That?, Cahonas hopes to reach even more men with their message of early detection and self-care. The band, known for their previous single “Seagulls of Aberdeen” which reached number 21 on iTunes and gained national media attention, is a natural fit for a charity single that combines humor with an important public health message.

Gregor Mackay from Weegie Hink Ae That? expressed his personal connection to the cause, stating “A few years ago I spotted a collaboration between Bawbags and Cahonas Scotland. I was in my mid-twenties and had never actually thought to check myself. I did it straight away and it opened my eyes to how important it is for men to stay informed about their own health. It starts with something as simple as a check. We want to keep that message going and reach as many men as we can with the importance of checking early. If this single helps even a few people take that step, it will be worth it.”

Ritchie Marshall, CEO of Cahonas, also shared his appreciation for the support, stating “Christmas is a season of giving and this single gives us something priceless. It gets the message of early checking into homes, headphones, and holiday playlists in a way that feels natural. Weegie Hink Ae That? have taken our #CheckYerBawballs message and wrapped it in something uplifting, fun, and full of heart. Their support helps us reach the men who need to hear this most and we are incredibly grateful.”

“Feeling This Christmas” will be available on all major streaming and download platforms from November 19th. All funds raised through the campaign will go towards supporting Cahonas’ education, awareness, and community support initiatives across Scotland.
