IFM Investors joins Green to spearhead next stage of growth

IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, advised by IFM Investors, has announced its acquisition of Green Group AG and its subsidiaries (“Green”) from previous investor, InfraVia European Fund III, managed by InfraVia Capital Partners. The transaction was successfully completed on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Green is a leading provider of hyperscale and enterprise data center services. The company boasts a strong market presence in Switzerland and has long-term contracts with global cloud providers and enterprise customers. In addition to data center services, Green has also been providing internet and web hosting services to private and SME customers for over three decades.

Green has recently announced its expansion into other European markets as part of its data center growth strategy. The company has already established a subsidiary in Frankfurt and is actively pursuing new data center projects in Germany. Roger Süess, CEO of Green, stated, “We are excited to pursue our planned expansion in Switzerland and across Europe together with IFM Investors and to continue building on the trusted relationships we have with our customers.” Süess also mentioned that the company has secured additional land in Switzerland to support its future growth. Members of Green’s senior management team have also reinvested in the company alongside IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, demonstrating their commitment to Green’s success.

Green is currently operating six data centers in the greater Zurich area, with three more under construction. The company also has plans for new projects in Switzerland and Germany. In addition to its data center services, Green is also a leading internet service provider in Switzerland, offering a range of services to private individuals and SMEs. The company has received multiple awards, including the Swiss market leader for data center and colocation services (ISG, 2020-2025), innovation in waste heat utilization (Data Cloud Global Awards, 2024), and the best new data center project in EMEA (DCS Awards, 2023).

IFM Investors, owned by Australian and UK pension funds, has approximately USD$ 161.2 billion under management and invests on behalf of more than 700 like-minded investors worldwide. The company manages investments across infrastructure equity, debt, listed equities, and private equity assets.
