The official weigh-in took place on Saturday, October 18, at the Joudyan Hotel in Riyadh, confirming all fighters are ready to step into the ring for one of the most significant nights in modern boxing.

When and Where Are the Fights?

The semifinal bouts are scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Global Theater in Riyadh, one of the premier venues in Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing combat sports scene.
This stage will determine the finalists in four divisions—Featherweight, Super Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight—who will later compete for the coveted WBC Grand Prix championship belts.

The event marks a major milestone in the sport’s global expansion, reflecting the WBC’s ongoing partnership with Saudi Arabia to host elite-level boxing in the Kingdom.

The WBC Boxing Grand Prix began with 128 fighters from 43 countries, divided evenly into four divisions:

Featherweight (126 lbs)

Super Lightweight (140 lbs)

Middleweight (160 lbs)

Heavyweight (200+ lbs)

The journey started in April, with the opening round featuring 64 bouts (16 per division). The second stage in June saw 32 contests, and the quarterfinals in August narrowed the field down to the final eight contenders.

Each fight in the early rounds was scheduled for six rounds, keeping the action fast-paced and intense. Now, the remaining fighters will battle it out in the semifinals for a spot in the Grand Prix Finals, set to take place later this year.
