The UK’s largest fireworks show is set to return to Abingdon Airfield on Saturday, November 15, 2025, with an incredible lineup of entertainment and attractions. Abingdon Bonfire & Fireworks 2025 promises to be a night of light, fire, and family fun that is not to be missed.
Produced by Illusion Fireworks Ltd, an award-winning display team known for their cutting-edge pyrotechnics, this year’s display will feature a 270° wrap-around experience with fireworks, lights, and lasers choreographed to music. This impressive display will surround the audience with an unmatched level of color, power, and precision.
In addition to the fireworks show, the event will also feature a large bonfire, live entertainment, and the largest fairground in the South of England. With over 30 large thrill rides, traditional fairground classics, children’s rides, side stalls, and carnival games, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
For the younger visitors, a new family-friendly K-pop Demon Hunters Singalong & Light Show has been added to the lineup. This experience, featuring a mix of songs from the hit Netflix series and low-noise fireworks, is the perfect warm-up before the main display.
Returning favorites include the Oklahoma Willy Jet Engine Van, which will thrill the crowd with its powerful engine, and the new addition of monster truck rides, giving attendees the chance to get up close and personal with these impressive vehicles. Throughout the evening, guests will also be entertained by roaming performers and live acts, including guest DJ Fake Boy Slim.
The night will end with the famous explosive fireball finale, leaving the audience on a high note. Organizers have taken into account feedback from previous years and have implemented an unprecedented traffic management scheme, in partnership with Buko Traffic & Safety. This plan, supported by a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order from Oxfordshire County Council, includes a dedicated one-way traffic system, new entrance gates, additional stewarded car parks, and an ANPR-controlled parking system to ensure a safe and smooth experience for all.
“We have invested heavily in both the entertainment and the traffic infrastructure to ensure that this year’s event is a turning point,” said a spokesperson for Abingdon Bonfire & Fireworks. “From the UK’s biggest fireworks and light show to a completely transformed travel experience, Abingdon is setting a new standard for large-scale events.”
The event will take place on November 15, 2025, at Abingdon Airfield. Gates will open at 4:30pm, with the bonfire starting at 6:30pm and the fireworks at 7:30pm. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.abingdonfireworks.co.uk.
