Age Concern Hampshire is pleased to announce the launch of a new monthly Saturday Club at its Lockswood Care and Wellbeing Centre in Locks Heath. Beginning in September, the club will meet on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30am to 3:30pm and is open to current and new clients. This new program aims to provide greater flexibility and support to older individuals, their families, and caregivers in the community.
The Care and Wellbeing Centres operated by Age Concern Hampshire offer nurturing day care in a secure and dementia-friendly environment. Clients can participate in a variety of engaging activities, enjoy optional hot lunches, and utilize transportation services while caregivers have the opportunity for much-needed respite time.
Hannah Park, Head of Operations at Age Concern Hampshire, expressed the organization’s pride in launching this new Saturday provision at Lockwood. “It reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the changing needs of our community with flexible, high-quality care,” said Park.
