The highly anticipated Lacock Scarecrow Trail is returning this summer, offering a weekend of excitement, ingenuity, and community camaraderie to the historic village of Lacock on Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th, 2025.
This annual event has become a beloved tradition in the local community, inviting visitors to explore the charming village while searching for a diverse array of imaginative scarecrows crafted by residents, schools, and groups. This year’s theme, “Wiltshire Pubs”, promises a spirited display of country charm, clever pub names, and creative interpretations scattered throughout the village.
Trail maps will be available on the day at various locations in Lacock, with all proceeds going towards supporting Lacock C of E Primary School. In addition to the trail, there will also be refreshments, stalls, and activities to entertain the entire family.
“The Lacock Scarecrow Trail is a highly anticipated event for both the school and the village,” said the organizing team. “We are always amazed by the level of creativity put into each scarecrow and are grateful to know that it is all in support of a great cause.”
Whether you are a resident or a weekend visitor, the Lacock Scarecrow Trail guarantees two days of unique charm, fresh air, and plenty of joy. Join us as we follow the trail and raise funds for our village school.
