Velenje – Gorenje, a leading European home appliance manufacturer and part of Hisense Europe, has announced their continued partnership with the Machineseeker EHF Champions League. In addition, the company will also become a seasonal partner of the EHF Champions League Women, marking their first involvement in this competition. The announcement was made on Sunday at the TruckScout24 EHF FINAL4 in Cologne.
Gorenje first became regional partners of the men’s European topflight in 2017 and has since played an active role in all aspects of the competition. As a premium partner since 2022, the brand has now advanced to become the Official Partner of both the men’s and women’s EHF Champions League.
Under this expanded cooperation, Gorenje will be present in all arenas and involved in all marketing activities for both editions of the competition. The company has already been an advertising partner at the EHF FINAL4 Women in 2024 and 2025 and will now further support women’s sport through this partnership.
Gorenje has proven to be an engaging partner, utilizing digital platforms for campaigns such as “Breakfast for Champions” and “Young Players to Watch”. Their on-site activations, including the giant tumble dryer challenge and personalized emoji masks, have also been well-received by fans.
David Szlezak, Managing Director of EHF Marketing, expressed his delight in extending the long-standing partnership with Gorenje and the company’s commitment to both the men’s and women’s competitions. Alenka Potocnik Anzic, Marketing Director of Hisense Europe, also shared her excitement for this new chapter in their sponsorship, stating that it brings their vision to life. Hanson Han, CEO of Hisense Europe and President of Gorenje Division, added that this partnership is a strategic investment for the company that aligns with their values of reliability, sustainability, and high-quality products.
