Mintz Group adds ex-federal prosecutor Asha Muldro to team

Mintz Group, a highly respected global investigations, intelligence, and risk advisory firm, has announced that Asha Muldro, a former federal prosecutor, has joined the company as a Partner in its Risk and Due Diligence practice. Muldro will be utilizing her expertise to assist corporate clients and their counsel in managing risk and compliance throughout their business relationships.

With over 20 years of experience in complex investigations, compliance assessments, and high-stakes litigation matters in both the public and private sectors, Muldro brings valuable leadership to Mintz Group. She most recently worked at Guidepost Solutions, where she specialized in investigations, monitoring, and compliance. In her role as Deputy General Counsel, Senior Managing Director, and co-Chair of the Los Angeles office, Muldro played a key role in major federal monitorships and cultural reform initiatives at large institutions such as General Motors, the New York City Housing Authority, and the University of Michigan. Prior to this, she spent seven years as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles, leading over 145 federal cases involving fraud, cybercrime, violent offenses, and domestic security matters. Muldro began her legal career as an associate in the white-collar department at Latham & Watkins, LLP. She holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University.

According to Mintz Group’s co-CEO Chris Weil, Muldro’s strong business values and extensive experience advising boards, general counsels, and senior executives on various risk-related issues make her a valuable addition to the team. “Decision makers trust us to provide guidance and strategic advice in critical situations, and Asha’s expertise will further strengthen our ability to do so,” he said.

Muldro herself is eager to join Mintz Group and contribute to its mission of providing trusted advice to corporate leaders. “Having seen the challenges that corporate leaders face in anticipating and managing risk, I am impressed by how Mintz Group serves as a reliable advisor in these situations,” she stated.

The hiring of Asha Muldro is just one of several recent strategic developments in Mintz Group’s Risk and Due Diligence practice. The company also recently acquired UK-based Greyhawk Intelligence Group, a corporate intelligence firm with a strong presence in the UK, EU, Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia.
