Contigo Mobility Introduces AI-Powered CoMoAI to Boost Global Mobility Intelligence and Safety

Last Updated on:

Contigo Mobility, a leading innovator in electric vehicle (EV) mobility solutions, has unveiled the global expansion of its AI technology, CoMoAI. Over the next six months, every CoMo and CoMoTo fleet vehicle worldwide will be equipped with cutting-edge front and rear cameras, capable of capturing live video and images. These visuals will then be automatically uploaded to a centralised server for in-depth analysis.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to transform urban mobility by leveraging AI-based insights to maximise travel efficiency, improve road safety, and provide real-time data on traffic and road conditions. The CoMo and CoMoTo fleet already features IoT capabilities that track location, vehicle diagnostics, battery performance, and rider behaviour. With the integration of high-definition video analytics, CoMoAI will propel mobility intelligence to an advanced level.

CoMoAI will utilise machine learning to interpret the captured footage, analysing traffic patterns, environmental variables, and road infrastructure. This will allow riders and delivery personnel to receive optimised routes, helping them avoid traffic congestion, detect road hazards, and navigate more effectively. Furthermore, the system will enhance safety features, ensuring a more secure and seamless riding experience.

“Our vision is to transform mobility intelligence through real-time data collection and AI-powered analytics. By the end of 2025, we are targeting close to 100,000 CoMo and CoMoTo units actively collecting video and image data, making Contigo Mobility the largest moving data collector globally,” said Zuhri Yusof, CEO of Contigo Technology Group.

“Our AI-driven system represents a breakthrough in mobility intelligence. With CoMoAI, we are not only improving the user experience but also laying the foundation for advanced real-time road monitoring, traffic optimisation, and predictive analytics,” said Sudhir Abdul Rahman, CTO of Contigo Technology Group. “This technology will revolutionise how mobility data is collected and utilised, benefitting riders, city planners, and even third-party stakeholders who require real-time mobility insights.”

As part of its initial deployment, Contigo Mobility will introduce a pilot scheme in London, using the city’s urban density as a testing environment before expanding into key CoMo markets such as Indonesia and other global locations. The newly installed cameras provide a 130-degree field of view both at the front and rear, while the movement of motorcycles enhances their ability to map and assess the surrounding area.

In addition to improving journeys, CoMoAI will contribute to a safer and more intelligent transport system. The extensive data gathered by the CoMo fleet will also be accessible for third-party integration, offering valuable insights for urban planning, traffic control, and smart transportation systems.

This bold step reaffirms Contigo Mobility’s leadership in AI-powered transport solutions, redefining efficiency, safety, and the future of data-driven mobility innovation.
