Hope Spring Announces Chinese New Year WhatsApp eCard

Hope Spring eCards Launches New Chinese New Year Greetings for 2025

On Friday, January 24, 2025, Hope Spring eCards, a charity fundraising online greetings card platform, announced the launch of their new set of eCards designed specifically for Chinese New Year 2025. Each Chinese New Year is named after an animal, and 2025 is the Year of the Snake, which is reflected in some of the new eCards.

Visitors to the Hope Spring website and supporters of the charity can now send any of the new Chinese New Year eCards instantly by email or share them through WhatsApp. The platform also offers the option to send eCards from their past catalogue. In a blog post announcing the new eCards, Hope Spring emphasized the improved functionality of their share to WhatsApp feature.

Platform manager Seun Olonade stated, “We are particularly excited and proud of the improvements we have made recently to our share to WhatsApp feature.” She added, “Now the full ecard is displayed to the recipient, with the name of the sender shown at the top. This will increase trust and confidence, and ultimately increase ecard open rates.”

Hope Spring also provided detailed information about the send eCard by WhatsApp feature on another blog post on their website. A video demonstrating the steps needed to take full advantage of the new feature was also included.

In addition to the launch of the new Chinese New Year eCards, Hope Spring water, the charity that the ecard platform raises money for, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Their supporters and the ecard platform are hoping to raise more funds than ever before in order to complete ten clean water projects, representing each of the organization’s ten years in existence.

The addition of the Chinese New Year share to WhatsApp feature is expected to contribute towards achieving their fundraising goal.
