At the event, more than 50 adults and children joined together to have fun and form supportive friendships in a heart-warming demonstration of community spirit. Attendees enjoyed a fun a festive atmosphere, with an ice cream van, snacks, music, bubbles and children’s entertainer.
Recognising the importance of building relationships within communities, particularly for those who have moved to new location and lack a local support network, Caridon Property Group hosted the summer party to encourage social inclusion and instil a sense of belonging among residents. Caridon Property Group also hosted a coffee morning on Thursday 8 August 2024 in advance of Book Lovers Day, providing a reading corner for children and a collection of books for residents. To ensure they included the most in-demand children’s books, Caridon Property ran a social media poll to gather ideas for children’s favourite books. Based on the results of the poll, Caridon Property Group purchased a selection of titles for young readers and handed them out for children to keep at Imperial Apartments, as well as putting some books in the ‘Little Libraries’.
