When the financial crisis of 2007/8 occurred, The Construction Marketing Group expanded into various industry sectors, resulting in the establishment of Marketing Quotes.
The objective was to link businesses with marketing experts who have industry-specific experience. The internet is extensive, and finding the right marketing company, much like searching through Yellow Pages before the internet, remains a challenge due to the tens of thousands of options available in the UK.
In 2002, digital marketing was just starting, and social media was non-existent in any recognisable form.
David Blackburn, the founder of the parent company Positive Move, commented: “When we started back in 2002, there was no social media, there were no smart phones and fax machines were still being used, what a different world we live in now.
